soft launching fall a little early…

we’re manifesting 𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 with three new drinks:

𝗳𝗶𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮 — vanilla + fig jam, lightly sweetened and served iced. a little fruity, a little cozy.

𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝗷𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮 — slow-steeped earl grey, vanilla + hojicha for something sweet, nutty and earthy. good hot or iced.

𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿— apple, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon + orange, finished with a little apple cider vinegar and an apple chip. served over ice, but also very good hot.

come try them tomorrow while we pretend it’s already fall.

𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙪𝙩𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙝
prosciutto, gruyère, and arugula with a light apricot glaze. sweet, salty, and a little summery.

𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙘𝙤𝙗𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙧 𝙢𝙪𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙣
soft peaches, cinnamon, and a buttery crumble on top. this one won’t last long.

our classic scone with lemon and poppyseed, finished with a sweet lemon glaze. made for sunny mornings and iced coffees.

For the last 8 years, Matt Wimberly has been an important part of Lineage — constantly pushing quality forward with care, consistency, and heart.

As he heads to Indiana for a new adventure, we wanted to celebrate his time here the best way we know how.

last week our team traveled around el salvador to catch the tail end of harvest, cup coffees, and spend time at farms and mills we’re hoping to work with.

since we haven’t sourced much from el salvador before, this trip was about getting a feel for the regions and meeting the people behind the coffee. we spent time out west near Apaneca, then headed up north to Chalatenango later in the week.

we visited the pacas family farm with maria pacas and got to taste their bernardina, which was really special. also spent time at finca medrano in san ignacio — super high elevation, fully organic, and just an insane level of care for such a small farm.

we brought back a lot of samples and are still making final calls, but one we’re moving forward with is an eight bag nano lot we found in an insanely unexpected way. our uber driver from the airport started telling us about his mom’s farm, award winning and producing 88 point high elevation Pacamara there. small world. incredible coffee.

we are excited to share more about these as they land, but we are really excited about what we found here.
