Back home, I normally made it my little mission to try a few coffee shops serving 100% Dominican specialty coffee. ☕️🇩🇴 but this time Im sharing it 😊
Because if you’re looking for Dominican coffee beyond the usual cafecito, there’s a whole specialty coffee scene worth exploring.

I had the pleasure of spending the day there cupping, tasting, asking a million questions, and talking all things Dominican specialty coffee.
And honestly? This is exactly the kind of experience I love finding when I’m back home. Not just drinking coffee, but getting closer to the people, places, and stories behind the cup.

I stopped in for an Americano and found out they were brewing 100% Dominican coffee from the Jarabacoa region — so obviously, I had to try it.
But coffee wasn’t the only reason to linger. They also make artisanal masa madre bread, baked in-house, and honestly… coffee + good sourdough is a combination I will always support. 😂
There’s something special about sitting in a coffee shop in Santo Domingo and drinking coffee grown right here in the Dominican Republic.
