Located upstairs at East End Market, The Neighbors is a collaborative brainchild from the folks behind Freehand Goods, DOMU & Market owner, John Rife. The purpose of our space is to continue East End's mission as a small business incubator for the Orlando community. Pairing local artisans with an approachable cocktail program & an experimental food kitchen, we've created a comfortable & creative environment that pushes boundaries while giving everyone a chance.

It’s tomato season & what better way to highlight the beginnings of summer than showcasing our local produce! For this week’s Secret Slice 🍕, we’re using tomatoes from & homegrown everglade tomatoes from Chef Alli’s garden. This one is only available ‘til Sunday & can be made vegan upon request!

My Biggest Problem Is Being Young & Beautiful by Sofia! “My cocktail is inspired by Torch Song Trilogy. It was originally a Broadway show that was later adapted to film in the 80s. Most art surrounding the LGBTQ community during this time period was limited to indie films or art-houses, while only stigmatized media made it into the mainstream. Torch Song Trilogy was one of the first films that made it into mainstream media that showed the real life struggles & experiences of q***r people.”

Herbaceous & vegetal; all the ingredients are fresh picked off local farms, but there’s also a cultural influence. In a time when everybody wants to be a cowboy, Country Boy, I Love You was made in dedication to the rodeo scene. Since 1975, LGBTQ+ people have been competing in rodeos to win prizes & help raise millions of dollars for charity. Every year there’s new groups of q***r people taking the bull by the horns, metaphorically & literally. Cheers!”

We made this little map for you to know what’s going on, where at today’s NEXT DOOR LIVE! Music Fest. NDL! is a very DIY event so share this map, tag a friend or pick up a printed version from NBRS because it will be completely up to you how you wonder through .apgd. That’s the beauty of our neighborhood, there’s a hidden gem on every single corner.

Parking in our neighborhood will be scarce so please try to ride together, take an Uber or ride a bike. Overflow parking can be found at the Audubon Park School. When parking in the surrounding neighborhoods, please obey all parking signs & be considerate of your neighbors’ homes & driveways.

We’re looking forward to a really great first event all around Audubon Park. So have fun, stop into a business you’ve never been in, tip your favorite musicians/bartenders & meet us back here at The Neighbors, The Audubon Room & East End Market for the final acts of the night. Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

From now on, each & every oyster shell will be recycled through ’s Restore Our Shores + Shuck & Share program to help restore oyster populations & keep the ecosystem balanced while filtering the water of the Indian River Lagoon.
