Growth cannot happen without change, and this one is bittersweet, but we believe it will be for the best. Our time at the garden has come to an end as we’ve outgrown the space both physically and spiritually.
This past year we poured our hearts and souls into what we thought Lucid could be here; we gave all of ourselves to be there to serve you a cup of calm with our main goal of spreading joy with our community, and what a community it has become! However, these past few months our dream has felt more like keeping up with a moving train, and while this pace was way past our comfort zone, we told ourselves it’s what’s best for our community. We thought we could make something beautiful here and show that we can all coexist, but while we were formulating big (and scary) plans for the garden, ultimately we were limited with what we could do once those we thought were on board suddenly started to derail us. While we tried our best to still spread joy these past few months, the reality is our joy was zapped by those around us once we learned they weren’t as accepting of our community as we were lead to believe.
Needless to say, we weren’t able to negotiate a new lease with the garden and ultimately, we decided that we were outgrowing the space for what we could do there; and we saw this as a new opportunity to trust what we’ve built with Lucid and to find a new home for us to serve you~and our soul. A home that we hope will bring more positive energy and provide a safer, more accepting space for our community that we love for being unapologetically themselves. 🏳️🌈💃💜
We hope you’re just as excited as us with this next step; it is bittersweet as we’ve made so many amazing memories together over the past year at the garden, but it’s time we bloom into our fullest potential and we hope you’ll continue to follow us to that next step. ✨✨✨
