We wish to send out our condolences to the Parrot Head Nation. It's been a sad few days for us with the news of the passing of Jimmy Buffett. His music and lifestyle stirred our Coastal Souls. We've been listening to Radio Margaritaville all weekend and the songs, stories, and tributes have been nothing short of amazing... this one man touched so many of us. I posted a pic of 2 Key West legends as well as one of me channeling Jimmy himself. On a final note, I was honored to have been selected to do a Guest DJ slot on . I got to share what Jimmy and his music meant to me. We posted that broadcast on our website at www.WavesCoastalKitchen.com

We got to serve up some of our Coastal style BBQ this past weekend at a Grad Party. Our Riptide Ribs and BBQ Jerk Chicken were a big hit!

We escaped to Margaritaville this past weekend on their Cruise Ship. What a great 2 night getaway to Grand Bahama Island. The ship is newly renovated in a "Parrot Head" theme. Beautiful staterooms, a whole list of activities, and of course great music all weekend long. We highly recommend this fun escape.
