After a lot of thought and some very difficult conversations, we’ve made the decision to step away from Baja Boyz Tacos and close this chapter for now.
This is a hard post to write because Baja Boyz was never just a food truck to us.
It started with a love for the food & culture we grew up with in San Diego & Baja, but behind it was something much more personal. The name, the logo, and the heart behind Baja Boyz were inspired by family and memories that mean more to us than we could ever put into words.
When we opened in 2024, we just wanted to bring a little piece of Baja to Utah and build something our family could be proud of. What we got in return was so much more.
You waited in line for our tacos. You booked us for events, birthdays, company parties, and family celebrations. You followed us to food parks and farmers markets. You told your friends about us, came back to see us, and supported our little family business.
Every single order mattered to us.
There were long days, late nights, sacrifices, setbacks, and some incredible memories along the way. Through all of it, we kept showing up because we believed in Baja Boyz and loved seeing people enjoy something our family created together.
For now, we feel like it’s time to step away and focus on the next chapter of our lives.
We don’t know what the future holds or what Baja Boyz might look like down the road. Maybe one day you’ll see that logo around again. ❤️
Until then, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
Thank you for believing in us & supporting our family.
& Thank you, Utah, for letting us Bring Baja to YOUtah! 🌮❤️
