It's Roelli Cheese Week at the Firefly! We drove to the Chris & Kristine Roelli's cheese factory today, picked up 223 pounds of artisan cheese made by one cheesemaker from the milk of one dairy farm, and then spent the afternoon and evening preparing it for all of you to enjoy this week. Whoo-hoo! Plus, look how we're using these small-batch artisan cheeses in our menu this week:
Tuesday: Loaded Veggie All-Day Breakfast Burrito with Avocado, Tomato, Spinach, Bell Pepper, Egg & Roelli Cheese Aged Lowlander Gouda in a whole wheat wrap, served with Fly Sauce for $8.50
Wednesday: Ham & Alpine Cheese Panini with Sliced Ham, Roelli Cheese Little Mountain (2016 American Cheese Society Best in Show Winner), Gourmino Gruyere from Switzerland, Tomato, Organic Greens & local Stone Ground Mustard on Madison Sourdough with choice of side for $11
Thursday: Roelli Dunbarton Blue Panini with Fig Jam & Fresh Pear Slices: Dunbarton Blue is an artisan cheddar with blue veins and recognized as one of the best cheeses in the world! Served on Madison Sourdough with choice of side for $10.95
Friday: Roelli Red Rock & Bacon Panini with Roelli Red Rock Artisan Cheddar (named one of the top 20 best cheeses in the world at the 2022 World Championship Cheese Contest), Hook’s 1-Year Cheddar, Usinger’s Bacon & Tomato on Madison Sourdough with choice of side for $10.95
