So, some days, you learn, and some days you win. But every once in a great while, you do both!
We wanted to thank the Infinity Premier Innovations for the opportunity to set up in Ottawa. And while there were some challenges, we wanted the take a moment and reach out a special Thank you to SS Shirts N More.
We were told we would have power, and I mistakenly chose to leave my generator at home. This proved to be a terrible decision, and upon arrival at the square, hilarity ensued as we tried multiple times to find both electrical service, and a hook up we could use. While doing so, and ultimately failing, Stephen from SS Shirts N More, acting as a volunteer for this event, took it upon himself to help me as we drove all over Ottawa looking for the combination of adapters. Once this also failed, Steve and his kind wife Shelly took it to another level by actually borrowing a generator from a friend, for us!
Once we were up and running, we were off like gang busters! We want to thank everyone that helped, and that ate our food. We apologize for selling out of food so quickly, but it was an epic day! We were out of brisket by 2 pm, out of everything else by 3! Thankyou all so much for coming out, and thank you to all that helped with this event!
