We want to take this moment to thank our dedicated team for their hard work, our associates, and our customers who have been part of our story. Your support and engagement have meant the world to us.
45 years ago, Ramón and Lilia Calderón with their cousin Tomás Llera embarked on unknown territory when they opened Felix Continental Café with only one Cuban item as stated in the menu: “The Cuban Sandwich, Our Version” $2.95. Today, Lilia still keeps the books, as she did on day one, and manages the restaurant with her son, Carlos.
Despite our best efforts to sustain the business, the ongoing market volatility and economic circumstances have forced us to make this difficult decision. Our doors will be closing Thursday, August 29, 2024. While it’s hard to say goodbye to this chapter, the bonds and memories we’ve created endure.
