We're one week out from Rally on the Route!

Join us for a free block party to celebrate and support businesses along the streetcar corridor!

Saturday September 5th from 2 pm to 8 pm

16th will be fenced off between Harney and Farnam streets for food, drinks, family-friendly fun, beats by a local DJ, and performances and activities by the Omaha Symphony, Opera Omaha and more.

🍔 Participating restaurants will operate food tents or will have their doors open, serving food & drinks for purchase.

🍺 Alcohol purchased from tents or businesses within the fenced-off area will be allowed throughout the block party area.

🅿️ Park Omaha will be offering $1 garage parking at the Park One garage at 1516 Douglas St and free metered parking within one block of the event.

Bartender's Note:

Zero waste is a nod to Lethas passion in eliminating landfills. It’s expressed in her art using materials such as magazines and Amazon packaging paper. The concept of turning trash into something functional and or beautiful is a concept I believe makes the old market special.

Flying Potion was inspired by the whimsical nature of Amy and her work. I wanted a cocktail that catches your attention the way Amy's flowers do, immediately bringing color and life into the room. Using unexpected flavor combinations in the same way she uses unexpected materials, Flying Potion is bright and airy, yet complex and compelling.

Bartender's Note:

The first time seeing Shawn's work I was blown away. His videography skills are amazing. The color schemes, movement, and just the style of it all. I knew I wanted to incorporate that movement in my cocktail! The Lava Lamp-Based Security System is an interactive cocktail combining earthy and floral notes, complete with a bucket of blueberry jam for you to pour into the drink and watch as it flows through the glass and settles into the sakura jellies.

Diane's career has always been entwined with nature. From landscaping to welding magnificent spiraling trees to using mud from the Badlands in her sculptures, I wanted this cocktail to be an ode to her inspiration and essence: free spirited, quirky, and adventurous.
