As we approach our second anniversary this August, we want to take a moment to say thank you.
Our journey has come full circle.
Ten years ago, Kathmandu Momo Station started as a small pop-up just across the street from where we are today. Nine years ago, we opened our Blackstone location, and that same year we became one of the original vendors at Inner Rail Food Hall. Two years ago, we returned to the very block where it all began, bringing Kathmandu Momo Station downtown while also introducing our newest concept—Cattle Call.
The past two years have been an incredible ride. Through road construction, changing downtown traffic, and everything in between, we’ve been fortunate to be supported by an amazing team led by Chef Abe in the kitchen and Michael leading our front-of-house. Every single team member has helped shape this space, and none of it would have been possible without the incredible support of our guests and the downtown Omaha community.
As Cattle Call has grown, it’s become clear that the concept needs more room to continue evolving. Because of that, August will be the final month of Kathmandu Momo Station at our 16th & Farnam location.
This isn’t goodbye to Momo Station. Our original Inner Rail Food Hall location will continue serving the dishes you’ve come to love, and our signature momos will remain on the Cattle Call menu as an appetizer.
Beginning in July, our downtown Momo Station will follow Cattle Call’s operating hours:
• Tuesday–Saturday: 4:00 PM – Midnight (bar until 1:00 AM)
• Sunday: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Monday: Closed
We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built over the past decade. Every chapter has helped shape who we are today, and this next one is about giving Cattle Call the space it needs to become everything we envisioned.
Thank you for supporting us—from the pop-up days, to Blackstone, to Inner Rail, and back to downtown where this journey first began. Your support has meant everything, and we’re excited to continue serving you for many years to come.
