A NEW CHAPTER AT THE DUNDEE DELL.

We’re excited to welcome Chef Jared Combs as Executive Chef of The Dundee Dell.

Here in Omaha, Jared has held culinary leadership roles at some names you’ll probably recognize — M’s Pub, Monarch Restaurant and Linden House. His cooking brings together classical technique, global influences and a focus on great ingredients, balance and flavor. His résumé spans more than 20 years in the culinary industry.

A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, California - Jared built his foundation in classical French technique before expanding his culinary perspective through experience in kitchens across California, Spain and the Midwest. 

Now, he’s bringing that experience to The Dundee Dell.

For over 110 years, The Dundee Dell has been serving Omaha. You don’t make it 110 years by standing still.

Chef Jared will be working with our team to sharpen the classics, develop new dishes and seasonal specials, and bring fresh ideas to the kitchen — while staying true to what has made the Dell a Dundee institution for generations.

More than 110 years behind us and we’re just as excited about what comes next.

You’ll start seeing Chef Jared’s influence on the menu very soon.

The first known selfie 📸 at the Dundee Dell in 1941!

The #1 hit when this photo was taken was the Chattanooga Choo Choo by Glenn Miller and his Orchestra.

We don’t know the names of the ladies in the image but do know on of them was a family member of the family that owned the Aulabaugh Furs Business.

Aulabaugh Furs was a historic furrier business based in Omaha, Nebraska, originally founded in 1889 by Josiah A. Aulabaugh and later run by his son, George N. Aulabaugh.
