I attended Porchfest yesterday in Omaha. It was amazing. I've still not seen any original local live music on the 4 years I've lived here, yes I'm a huge slacker. Rolled up on my bike to some GREAT sets by people I've never heard of. My personal fav of the day was Jordan and the Jeg Legs. Maaaan I'll be playing them in the shop if I can find some, loved it. (quick video in comments if you haven't heard them 👌).

Was riding my bike home through the wasteland of Farnam street too and I ran into Jordan the Ninja himself, putting in work on a quiet Sunday afternoon in the ghost town. Props, dude. 🙏

Thanks to the community for opening up your yards and neighborhood for this. It had such a great community vibe and all the people out were having a great day. Huge success and I am stoked for next year! If you didn't go, make plans next year. I'm taking my family as well.

Oct 3 2019. First official day in business.
Today is our anniversary!! We just rocked 7 years of pizza. Started in Las Vegas, now we are in Omaha.
Story from this day, some of you have heard it or were there:
I had this great idea where we would show up in the food truck, and we would cut veggies, shred cheese, make sauce, push dough and proof it, and then be ready for service in a hour.
What an idiot.
I showed up over an hour late because my generator wouldn't start. I said screw it and went anyways and plugged my bus in behind the soda machine (see the cord in the photo). People already waiting. Health inspector said he wouldn't ce so I could get my first day in. He lied, he came and set us back another 40 minutes. After a couple wasted hours, help from some friends either prepping or Stuart buying me markers from the store..... We finally made some pizza.
I left that lunch gig, packed up, and went to my job at Cirque du Soleil for the night, where I re-thought everything. Since that day, it's justbeen rock and roll for 7 years straight. Through covid accepting hundreds of those BOA unemployment cards, through moving states and still killing it, through 2 DDD inquiries (yep we got asked in Vegas too, but we were moving so didn't do it there).....
Now we have a little brick and mortar spot with a couple tables, and a patio out back. I miss our bus every day, but we are glad to have some AC and a prep space to call our own.

Thanks for taking this ride with us. Today marks the beginning of year 8. Dang. Let's go. 💪💪

Open Noon-8pm today. Sorry between street car madness and life lately I do not have a fancy special or anything, but I promise we will make you the same awesome consistent pizza you know and love from us. Hope to see you today.
