The New York City Parks Department issued a short response after an arts group called "Indecline" hoisted a life-size, naked Trump statue in Union Square Park a few days ago: "NYC Parks stands firmly against any unpermitted er****on in city parks, no matter how small."

No further comment needed.

The oldest restaurant in the Old Market served its last meal Sunday night.

So sorry to inform all of our loyal guests, but the French Cafe has in fact closed its doors to the public effective immediately. Thank you to everyone who has been with us on this wonderful journey for the last 42 years!
