Under the tough veneers of some children are hearts and minds that are lonely and vulnerable. The outer shell is a facade to protect the child from more hurt. You can't see the shell because it is invisible, but these children need you. You have probably heard me or one of our speakers say at seminars, that the children who challenge you the most, are typically the ones that need you the most. I have a special plea for you today.

Here is it: Do not give up on these children. It won't be easy. Those walls can be so thick. They don’t trust easily. Be there for them. Be patient. Set boundaries and follow through but also be loving. Build on their strengths. Acknowledge the positive things they do, and most of all, find ways to show them they are safe with you, and you really do care.

Have a great Friday. You are a difference maker

You go to work even when tired.

You give love and you inspire.

You hold little hands.

You touch precious hearts.

You wipe tears and give freely.

You lift kids up when they are down.
