Some bittersweet news from the Buns of Glory family 🧡

Our guy Carson is moving on to an incredible new job — and honestly, we couldn't be prouder. He recently graduated college and has been an absolute rockstar on our crew. This is exactly the kind of thing you hope for when you watch someone work this hard.

We're sad to see him go (who's gonna put up with us now??) but so proud of him and everything ahead. Carson — thank you for everything! Go be great. 🎓

Which means… we're hiring!

We're looking for someone who's a hard worker, a great team player, and can bring a positive attitude and amazing customer service to every shift. You've gotta be cool working in the heat of the summer (food truck life = it gets toasty in here 🔥 and we do close on excessively hot day) and genuinely enjoy taking care of people, including the rest of the crew. After all, we're one big family!

Experience is preferred but a good attitude and a willingness to learn go a long way with us.

Plus with our new pager system, there’s no need to stand outside! Stay in your cool and air-filtered car until your order is ready! It really is a no-brainer! 🤯

Now, that being said, if it gets too hot or our crew is feelin’ it from the air quality, we will shut down. We kinda like them…a lot, so we’re going to let them lead this one and keep their safety front and center.♥️

🍔 Okay… we’ve been keeping a secret.

For a little while now we’ve been sitting on some news, and today’s the day we finally get to say it out loud:

We’re a Best of South Sound Winner — for Best Burger 🥈 and Best Food Truck 🥉. 🏆

We’re still a little stunned. To rank where we did, especially since we just passed our first year, up against names who’ve been around for ages? We’re kind of speechless.

At the end of the day, this came down to you — the regulars, the “same as always” orders, the families who make us part of their week. You showed up for us, and we will never take that lightly.

Because this right here is why we do it: food that hits the soul without emptying your wallet. A place where taking the family out to eat isn’t a decision you have to budget around. Real burgers, made with care, by people who genuinely love this community.

So from the bottom of our hearts — thank you. This one belongs to all of us. 🤍

What is happening?! Are we dreaming?! Is KIRO 7 News really featuring an article about us? 😲

It was already an honor to get to share our story and how much we love this community. But never in a million years did we think the the big takeaway would be us saying we'd love to expand to accommodate a drive-thru and/or even indoor seating — and yes, how cool it'd be to land near the bigger Costco coming to Tumwater. Because let's be real… if it wasn't for you guys, we wouldn't be outgrowing our truck and eyeing more space! 🤯

This ride has been wild! We are loving every single minute and appreciate all the love we've received from everyone including The Olympian and KIRO 7 News!

Breaking news: the sun has won. 🌞

Against the heroic protests of our crew (who would apparently grill through the apocalypse), we’re closing early today. It’s too hot, and we’d like to keep our staff medium-rare, not well-done.

Tomorrow’s forecast? Somehow worse🤪. So we’ll be open a glorious three hours: 11–3.

Get in, get your burger, get out before you spontaneously combust. 🤯

We know, we know — you’ve been showing up in droves, and now we’re breaking your hearts. But a sweaty, heat-stricken crew makes questionable burgers, and nobody wants that. 🍔

🎉 ONE WHOLE YEAR OF BUNS OF GLORY! 🎉

One year ago, we took a giant leap of faith, fired up the grill, and opened our little burger truck with big dreams and a whole lot of hope.

What we didn’t know was how many incredible people we’d meet along the way.

Over the last year, you’ve celebrated birthdays with us, grabbed lunch on busy workdays, brought your kids for fries after practice, and supported us through every crazy, exciting, exhausting, and rewarding moment. Every burger ordered, every Facebook share, every recommendation to a friend…it all mattered more than you know.

Small businesses don’t survive because of fancy marketing budgets. We survive because of YOU.

So, as we celebrate our first birthday, we have one little favor to ask:

While everyone is thankfully ok, one of our crew members was in a minor car accident this morning. 🚗💥

We WILL be open today but not at 11 o'clock like everyone is use to and always outside waiting for (which makes us smile SO much every morning by the way!). 🫶
