Howdy Oly! Wow, it’s been a long time! Not to burst anyone’s bubble but the Reef is not reopening. Wanted to clear up some rumors that we heard going around. Sounds like some cool people with good food are moving in soon and we hope that they can bring the building back to life.
We closed The Reef back in July 2022 and no one approached us about trying to take it over or buying it and bringing it back to life. The Olympian reported that they are bringing The Reef back. Not to be dramatic, but the Reef name closed down when our business closed. We wish the Oyster Boys the best and hope Olympia will show them how supportive Oly is of small business.

Howdy!
So we have turned in our keys and officially have nothing more to do with 212 4th Ave E.
Wanted to take a moment and to thank everyone for the kind words and supportive energy. Sorry we didn’t have the juice to respond to everyone, maybe some day, but we still are very emotionally tender about losing this battle.
To clear a few things up, no one has seriously approached us about trying to purchase the Reef (business), so any rumors you may have heard are just that, rumors.
I’m positive that someone will rent that space and maybe even try to recreate what we had grown there but unless you hear from us that we have sold it, the Reef stays with us.
We brought it back from the dead only to have it burn again giving us the opportunity to bring it back twice.
People have asked if we will try again, we will not, we gave it our all and now we are moving on.
Who knows what the future will bring, someone may rise to the occasion and make an offer to buy it from us, but more than likely, the Reef’s sun has set and whatever opens in that space will hopefully be a new bright light and not some sort of shadowy imposter. 👀
We will be selling off remaining merchandise and other keepsakes in coming months, we just need to get our feet back on solid ground and make sure our family continues to thrive.
