So, what’s comforting for a cold rainy day? Mee Soto Ayam (basically a spiced chicken noodle soup). For those who have been asking me to make it, here it is!! We‘ll have this for a limited time!

Am using a yelllow yakisoba noodle (contains wheat, let me know if you have gluten concerns and I can use a rice noodle instead).

Dear friends,

Mom is now at peace.

These past months caring for her have been incredibly demanding - physically, emotionally, spiritually, and financially exhausting in ways I never imagined. But being there with her, especially in those final moments, has been the greatest honor of my life. I wouldn't trade a single moment of that time together.

Your kindness and support have meant everything to our family. Most of you have been so patient knowing that Nan is doing this all alone in both the front and back of the house, and we're truly grateful. Some of you have even come in with tokens of care, helped at the shop and offered care for Nik - we're overwhelmed by such generosity. Having such wonderful people thinking of us has helped carry us through.
We're so grateful to be in such a caring and loving community. I'll be returning home to Oly as soon as I can get all of Mom's administrative matters sorted.

💙 Dear friends

Your kindness and loyalty over the past year and a half have meant a lot to our family. We wanted to reach out personally to share what's been happening and express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support.

For the past two months, We’ve been in Singapore spending time with my mother as she faces a terminal illness. Being by her side as her caregiver during this precious time has been both a privilege and a necessity. While I remain in Singapore, Nan has returned and has been heroically running the restaurant by herself while also managing the kids. This is why we've had to limit our menu and are currently only offering lunch service - she's doing an incredible job juggling it all.

We are so touched by those of you who have asked about us and wondered where we've been. Thank you for your concern, we’re so blessed.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your patience, understanding, and for being the incredible customers who make this small business feel like family.

I’ll continue to update you as am able.

We’ll be closed for the rest of the month into August and will reopen on Sept 1, as originally announced.

Hi Friends, We wanted to give you a quick heads-up that we’ll be making a few temporary changes to our operations through July and into early August.

Due to a short-term staff shortage, we’ll only be offering weekday lunch service from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM. This helps us keep things sustainable behind the scenes while still delivering the same quality and care you know and love.

By the way, we’ll also be taking our annual break starting August 11, and we’ll return to our regular hours on Labor Day, September 1.

Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support—it truly means the world to us.
