A little progress update! 🛠️

We’ve been keeping busy behind the scenes with cleaning, repairs, and a few modifications to the space! Here’s a little before & after of some of the progress so far.

We’re currently waiting on the health department visit, and once we get approval, we’ll be able to install our equipment and be one step closer to opening our doors! ☕️🤎

I can’t wait to share these images and the stories behind them with our community inside Rusted Plow Coffee. Each photo represents the hard work, heritage, and heart of local agriculture.

There’s still time to be part of it! We have just two days left to collect farm photos and stories that will be displayed in the coffee shop.

🚜☕ WE HAVE THE KEYS!!

This is the moment we’ve been dreaming about, and we couldn’t be more excited to finally share it with all of you. Construction officially begins, and the transformation into Rusted Plow Coffee is underway!

From bare walls to cozy corners, coffee aromas, and a place where our community can gather, every step of this journey is about creating something special. We can’t wait to bring you along as we share the progress, the behind-the-scenes moments, and all the little milestones that lead up to opening day.

Thank you for cheering us on and supporting this dream from the very beginning. Be sure to follow along—you won’t want to miss what’s coming next!

Rusted Plow Coffee is excited to already be featuring five amazing farms in our shop!

We’d love to showcase more local and surrounding farms—anyone is welcome to participate. If you’d like your farm featured, please send photos and a short description (please refer to original post) by August 1st.

We can’t wait to celebrate the farms and agricultural stories that make our community special!

🌾 CALLING ALL LOCAL AND SURROUNDING FARM FAMILIES! 🚜

As many of you know, agriculture has always been a huge part of my life. The values, traditions, hard work, and people behind our local farms are a big part of what inspired Rusted Plow Coffee in the first place.

We’re creating a special Farm Heritage Wall inside the coffee shop and are looking for photos of local farms (both past and present) to help tell the story of the families and farms that have shaped our community.

Whether it’s:
🌾 An old family farm photo
🚜 A favorite tractor or harvest picture
🐄 Livestock photos
🏡 A historic barn
📸 A current photo of your operation
👨‍🌾 Multiple generations working together

We would love to feature it.

If you’d like your farm to be included, please send:
• A photo

• Location
• A brief history, fun fact, or anything you’d like others to know about your farm

You can send photos through Facebook Messenger or message me if you have a printed copy you would like to share!

Our hope is to create something that celebrates the farms, families, and traditions that continue to make our area such a special place to call home.

I had the chance to step away for a bit and attend a summer refresher course and it was a blast! ☀️

I spent time learning all about the newest summer drink trends (cold brew, matcha, boba, refreshers - with or without an energy boost and so much more!) it was so fun experimenting with different flavor combinations, and getting inspired to bring some fresh ideas back to the shop. From light and refreshing to bold and unique, I’ve been testing out some fun new creations that I can’t wait for you all to try!

At Rusted Plow Coffee our drinks are going to be full of new flavors, creative twists, and a whole lot of goodness. ☕

I truly cannot thank you all enough for the love and support you’ve shown me. It means more than I can put into words.

Every message, share, kind word, and bit of encouragement has made this journey even more special. Seeing this community rally around something I’m so passionate about is incredibly humbling.

I’m so excited for what’s ahead, and I’m beyond grateful to have each of you along for the ride. Thank you for believing in me and supporting this dream. It wouldn’t be possible without you.

I am excited to share that Rusted Plow Coffee will be opening its doors in Olivet this summer!

At Rusted Plow Coffee, our goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where the community can gather, connect, and enjoy high-quality food and beverages. We will be offering a variety of specialty lattes crafted with care, along with a menu featuring breakfast bagels, lunch sandwiches, and homemade soups.

As we prepare for our opening, we look forward to becoming a part of the Olivet community and serving as a place where friends, families, and neighbors can come together. We are committed to providing not only great coffee and food, but also a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for all.

We will be sharing updates and progress along the way, and we cannot wait to welcome you through our doors this summer.
