Some people just make a community better without ever asking for anything in return.

One of our regulars at Mississippi Ale House decided, completely on his own with permission, to come up here and clear out messed up small decked area, clean up the broken down wood spot here, and put in hours of hard work.

Nobody asked him to and he certainly wasn’t looking for any recognition. I’ve asked how to compensate and he politely refused.

In fact, he might prefer I didn’t even post this. 😂

But people like this deserve to be recognized.

One of the things I’ve enjoyed most about owning the Ale House isn’t the b**r or the entertainment. It’s the people we’ve gotten to know along the way.

We’re fortunate to have some pretty incredible regulars, and this gentleman is a perfect example of why.

Thank you, Eric, my friend. We appreciate you more than you know. 🍻

We’ve got 30 b**rs on tap and a desperate need for external validation.

Please vote for Mississippi Ale House so we can feel better about ourselves. Marshall’s self-esteem is riding on this but “DEFINITELY NOT HIS JOB”. 😂🏆

🎤 MISSISSIPPI ALE HOUSE IDOL IS COMING! 🎤

Think you’ve got what it takes to be the next big voice in DeSoto County? 🌟 We’re searching for 60 singers to compete for the title of the FIRST EVER Mississippi Ale House Idol!

Starting October 28th, we’re kicking off a four-month singing competition, and the spotlight could be YOURS! 🎶

🎤 HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

Each qualifying round will feature 20 contestants battling for a spot in our Grand Finale!

🏆 The TOP 5 from each round advance to the finale!

💵 Each qualifying night’s winner takes home $100 CASH!

🎯 HOW IS IT JUDGED?

Contestants will be evaluated primarily on vocal performance, including vocal ability, pitch, tone, song choice, and overall delivery.

The audience will also have a vote! A portion of each contestant’s overall score will come from audience voting, giving the crowd a chance to help decide who advances!

So bring your best voice, your stage presence, and maybe a few friends to cheer you on! 🍻

Love seeing this crowd for movie night at Olive Branch City Hall! And I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little excited to see the Ale House and our new patio lights shining in the background. 😂

Pretty cool to be a small part of this view. We love Old Towne! I’m interested to see what comes of this area in the coming years!
