Another update for Saturday’s events 🧡

Farm friends—it is with a heavy heart that we must POSTPONE the SECOND ANNUAL PUMPKIN PATCH PALOOZA and close the farm tomorrow, October 10th. With the rain and expected winds come safety concerns for our customers and vendors alike. And it’s not fair to ask anyone to brave the elements simply for our sake.

We, along with our incredible vendors, have worked and put so much effort into preparing for this event. And we do not take this decision lightly and are devastated to call it off. Which is why we are already working behind the scenes to see if we can get this event going on a different weekend. We will have more information in the next few days, so please stay tuned via our socials to keep up with any announcements we may make in the coming days.

We appreciate your support and interest in the event and hope we can make some fall magic happen. Usually, this is where I’d tell you that we’d catch you later and to remember to stay grumpy—but the Grumpy Farmer has that covered for all of us.🥴🤣

*NOTE: We will be open Sunday, October 11th, for our regularly scheduled activities unless the farm is flooded.

UPDATE: Due to the incoming weather, the Sunflower Festival at Silo Square has been canceled! ⛈️

We hope everyone stays safe through the storms!

SUNFLOWER FESTIVAL CANCELED 🌻

We are so sad to announce that tomorrow’s Silo Square Sunflower Festival has been canceled due to the strengthening of Hurricane Isaias overnight and the continued threat of heavy rain and wind gusts up to 45 mph.

The safety of our vendors, participants, and guests is our top priority, and we feel this is the best decision for everyone involved. Unfortunately, there will not be a rescheduled date.

While this certainly isn’t the outcome we had hoped for, there is still a bright spot! 💛 Thanks to our amazing vendors and local business sponsors, we are still able to grant a wish for a local Make-A-Wish child!

Thank you to everyone who supported and showed excitement for this brand-new event. We are so grateful for our community and look forward to seeing you at Silo Square soon!

Y'all really know how to support your local lemonade stand 🥹

The Cooper Young Festival yesterday was one for the books. We love getting to be a part of this historic festival that highlights so many makers, artists, musicians, and small businesses in our city.

Thanks to everyone who braved the heat and enjoyed one of our lemonades. 🍋💛
