Another use for one of our German beer steins! We want to thank everyone for your patronage during Freudenfest. We were happy to see old friends and made new ones when they stopped in to meet Sister Cleo.

Visitors haven’t stopped her from making ice cream. Flavor of the month for August, homemade peach ice cream. Rich vanilla ice cream filled with peaches from Doll’s orchard.

Just arrived in time for Freudenfest! A gentleman’s collection of German steins assembled over a lifetime. Over 140 very nice steins, mugs,and pilsners, most over 75 yrs. old. This is the finest collection I have had in 45 years. We will be offering these steins this week,Tuesday- Sunday for 20% off tagged price.

We already knew this about sister Cleo but now everybody knows how inspiring and dedicated she is! She enjoyed a fun afternoon yesterday with the crew from WLWT taking pictures interviewing and videotaping as she shared her life story and the reasons she enjoys making and serving the homemade ice cream.

Four days a week, Sister Cleo Werner whisks up homemade ice cream at Carriage House Antiques. After decades of serving others as a nun, she says this job is just another way to bring people joy.
