From one Kitchen Experience to the Next!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our most recent Mondano Kitchen Experience: Steakhouse Secrets.

Together we tied and roasted whole beef tenderloins, learned restaurant techniques for creating exceptional steaks at home, shared great food and wine around Joe's beautiful table in the Olivieri Room, and—best of all—spent an afternoon cooking, learning, and laughing together.

Our favorite part of these experiences is watching participants discover they can do things they never imagined. That's what the Mondano Kitchen Experience is all about!

Our next experience, Cooking With Fire, takes place this Saturday, July 18, and there are still a few seats available. We'll be exploring grilling techniques and chef secrets for cooking over live fire.

A Table Through Time

Thank you to everyone who joined us for A Table Through Time: Colonial America--the first in what we hope will be a continuing series of immersive historical dining experiences at Mondano.

Together we shared fresh-baked bread, house-made farmer's cheese, potted pork, peanut soup, oyster stew, game pies, Indian pudding, apple pandowdy, orange fool, live patriotic music, and wonderful conversation around a long communal table.

Thank you for making our first culinary journey through time such a memorable one!

This past Tuesday, we launched a new menu filled with fresh summer flavors from around the world—and we can't wait for you to experience it.

This month, you'll find everything from familiar favorites to exciting new discoveries, including:

🌽 Mexican Street Corn (Esquites) served sizzling in cast iron

🦆 Vietnamese Duck with lemongrass caramel, jasmine rice, pickled vegetables, and nuoc cham

🐐 Jamaican Curried Goat over coconut rice with sweet fried plantains

🐙 Char-Grilled Baby Octopus with confit potatoes, smoked paprika oil, and grilled lemon

🥟 House-Made Vegetable Lumpia with sweet chili dipping sauce

🐟 Hawaiian Poke Bowl, Chicken Spiedies, Greek Lamb Chops--and, of course, handmade pastas and hand-cut steaks!

And don't forget our desserts--all made entirely in-house-- including Peach Crumble with House-Made Bourbon Ice Cream, Lemon Posset, Thai Mango Sticky Rice, Affogato al Caffè, Chef Lou's signature Peanut Butter Cheesecake, and our Vegan Chocolate Mousse with Fresh Berries.
