A toast to the bride!

One of our favorite details from this beautiful bridal shower was this custom loaf of bread cookie!

Here’s how we created the look:
- Flooded the base and let it fully dry
- Added a this layer of a lighter shade of flood icing to create the texture of bread
- Finished with airbrush color to add dimension and bring the loaf to life

We love when a cookie can look almost too real to eat!

When a design has A LOT of letters, royal icing transfers are one of my favorite ways to keep everything clean and crisp while avoiding those dreaded craters!

For this set, I made each letter as a royal icing transfer, let them fully dry, and then popped them off the sheet and placed them onto the cookies. This also allowed the cookies to dry completely so I could add the printed stripes without worrying about disturbing the icing. It’s all about choosing the right technique to get the cleanest finished design.👌

The theme was “Fresh Off the Market”… but I wanted these cookies to feel like her, too. 🌷🏕️☕

When you order custom cookies from me, one of the first things I ask is for a few details about the person you’re celebrating. And I don’t stop there.

I’ll follow up with questions, toss around design ideas, and look for those little details that can turn a beautiful themed set into something that feels genuinely personal.
For this bridal shower, we started with a colorful Fresh Off the Market theme, then subtly worked in a few of the bride-to-be’s favorite things: camping, coffee, farmers markets, and being outdoors.
Nothing that took over the theme. Just tiny, intentional details woven throughout that made the set unmistakably hers. 🤍
Because custom cookies should be more than cookies that match the party.
They should tell you a little something about the person being celebrated too.
