Hey everybody, this is Nicki and Brian and I have made a very big decision we want to share with our family, friends and Naughty BBQ followers.
We have decided to close Naughty BBQ immediately.

Most of you know that Brian has been back working now over a year. During this time he committed to cover Naughty BBQ financially. He did this with absolutely no complaints. My commitment was the restaurant. I simply lived and breathed Naughty Barbecue. Anyone who knows that side of the business knows that running it alone is not an easy task. I began learning really quick that my shoulders were not big enough, my stress was way too high, my physical health was going downhill and I still wanted and needed Brian.
The two weeks he was off working, all we talked about was everything Naughty BBQ. I was miserable but I was" living the dream" at the restaurant. The two weeks he was home, all we talked about was everything Naughty BBQ. I was still miserable and still had to leave him to be at the restaurant to live that dream.
See the vicious cycle we were in? It was tearing us apart!
Yes, grocery costs are high but the reality is the bell on the door was not ringing the way we needed it to be. Consistency was the biggest issue. Some days were very busy and some days were very slow. It's so hard to estimate how much product to smoke or prep everyday. We either sold out too early and missed a sale or sell nothing and have to account for those losses.
Oooooh and then there's Madi! She was definitely a godsend to me over a year ago.
I could not have made it without her help and commitments to getting the job done. Madi would be a great catch for anyone! She's going to do great things. We truly love you! Madi! ❤️
We definitely had our regulars and we appreciate y'all very much!

We ran hard and had a blast for 9 years. We truly experienced it all! Beginning with tents and tables, food trailer, competitions, festivals, catering and ended with a building with Naughty BBQ above the door.
We accomplished everything we set out to do! 🙂

Brian and I made promises to each other 10 years ago to always make time and to put each other first. As of this week, we are going on our first spontaneous vacation and we are going to look forward to the next adventure together and to also remind each other how much we love each other ❤️
