One thing’s for sure about riding around Lake Hefner and that is that it doesn’t matter which way you go, you will always be riding into a 20-30 mile per hour headwind. Just have to embrace the suck and keep peddling.

- Day 6 Community Run DESTROYED!

OK, there was a whole lot of walking. But hey! We are just beginners. Being right at a 45 minute 5K pace starting out makes me happy. Gives me a lot of room to improve before this Pink Run at the beginning of October. Everyone is welcome, and no one will be left behind! 7 AM, every Saturday, at the lighthouse at Lake Hefner.
