A good meal can take you right back to a night out that felt a little special. That’s what came to mind here, with the warm spices, the naan coming out soft and blistered, and those deep, colorful sauces that make you slow down and pay attention.

The room has that cozy, sit-a-while feeling that works whether you came dressed up or just stopped in after a long day. You can almost hear the same conversations happening over shared plates and second helpings.

Places like this add a lot to a town. I’m glad there are still restaurants that make dinner feel like an occasion without making it complicated.
