One year ago, we opened our doors with a dream of sharing the food, coffee, and culture we grew up with. This weekend was a beautiful reminder of why we started.
To every guest who stopped by, waited in line, shared a drink, brought friends, or simply supported us this past year—thank you. Your support has meant everything to our family and our team.
A huge thank you to AnAn Bakeshop for an incredible pop-up and to Hung Viet Lion Dance for helping us celebrate and share such an important part of Vietnamese culture with our community.
This neighborhood has always been home to us. Our parents started their lives here after arriving from Vietnam, and now we're honored to continue that story in the same community that helped shape our family. Watching this neighborhood grow and evolve while being a small part of that journey has truly been a blessing.
Thank you for embracing our culture, supporting our small business, and making our first year so special. Here's to many more years of coffee, community, and sharing a little piece of Vietnam with Oklahoma City. ❤️🇻🇳

At Egg & CàPhê, stories like this are deeply personal to us.

My mother came to the United States after the Fall of Saigon, carrying with her the resilience, hope, and sacrifice shared by so many Vietnamese families. That journey shaped our family, our community, and the heart behind everything we do.

Vietnamese Boat People (VBP) is honoring those stories through Our Journeys, a traveling exhibition launched in 2025 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Fall of Saigon — a pivotal moment in our Vietnamese diaspora community.

This exhibition preserves and shares the lived experiences of refugees, survivors, and families who rebuilt their lives across the world. It’s a reminder that our histories matter, and that future generations deserve to know them.
