The Rise Cafe will temporarily close after July 9 as we take time to reimagine the space and how it can best support our mission and the community.

The Rise was always more than just a café. It was a place for community, job training and second chances—especially for those rebuilding their lives through City Rescue Mission. And while the café has had real success, we’re still working on how to make it financially sustainable in a way that truly serves both our guests and our mission.

We’re grateful for your support and we believe this space can do even more, and we want to take the time to get it right.

We’ll keep you posted—and be on the lookout for a short survey. We’d love your input as we dream about what’s next.

"Great coffee and an even better mission. How could you not love what these guys are doing? I had a cappuccino. The foam cap was nice and I could tell the espresso is good quality.

The employees were super nice and even told me about the mission behind this coffee shop. I would encourage anyone to come check them out.

Parking: They have a good amount of free parking.

Kid-friendliness: They have lots of dessert options for kids who may not want to go for coffee."
