Introducing my first new flavor of the 2024 fall season, the "Candy Apple Pecannoisseur," a tribute to my Aunt Becky, Senior Fruit & Nut Specialist at the OSU Research Extension, who kindly let me interview her for a story I'm writing for Edible OKC Magazine.

The name is a nod to a term that Danny coined to describe her role, "pecannoisseur," and the flavor includes all kinds of falltastic ingredients like:
• Salted caramel cream
• Vanilla bean and maple syrup
• Honeycrisp apples
• Fresh, native pecans from Overturf Farms
• Oats, nutmeg, and cinnamon

I can't wait until the story comes out. It's been a privilege to get to collaborate with my aunt on it and to learn more about what she does in the process!

NEW FLAVOR ALERT

Does anyone else actually *crave* ice cream when it's cold and snowy out? ❄️

This one's called "Florist Gump" 💐

• brown sugar 🍩
• rose water 🌹
• lavender bitters 🌿
• pink peppercorns 🎀
• vanilla bean🍦

Fun fact: My hubs, Mr. Freezle (and the mastermind behind .sculpture) recently got a pottery wheel and sculpted this whimsical ice cream dish by hand!

Homemade ice cream in a homemade dish? That's the stuff of cottagecore legend right there!

In my opinion, it's the perfect dish because ice cream ALWAYS belongs on a pedestal (and I'm an expert!) 🍨

We both really love this flavor, but I'd part with a pint of it (and/or a dozen mini popsicles). Let me know if you're dying to try it!

Say hello to my first-ever gelato, "When Shells Freeze Over," a sweet and savory treat starring... pistachio!!

Fun fact: The base for gelato is a little different from ice cream. Ice cream typically has a 2:1 cream-to-milk ratio, but that's flipped for gelato. Also, gelato usually contains eggs, while most Ice creams do not (except for super-thick, custard-style ice cream).
