What an amazing night last night! Thank you Karen and Gil and everyone who came out! ...We sold out of literally everything, and so we must be CLOSED TODAY for lack of food to serve 😅 But we will be back next week. Have a great week, hope to see you all again soon!

Tonight! 5:30-... We have Gumbo, Jambalaya, all the Swamps, and some tasty Shug's: Peanut Butter Pie, Heavenly Hash, Creme Brulee, Ginger Snap'd. Open for lunch at 11:30.

Red Beans n Rice today, Jambalaya, Swamps, a few Shug's...
Woke up at 3 again 🥱 so I made cinnamon rolls (gf of course, and *mostly* sf). I already ate one...feeling peckish...might eat more, lol... So if you want one you'll have to special ask cuz I'm not inclined to put it on the menu as they might just be too good to share 😆 Let's see how long they last lol.

📢 OFFICIAL LABOR DAY ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

In accordance with the ancient and completely legitimate rules of Labor Day, you are hereby authorized to:

✔️ Do absolutely nothing productive.
✔️ Ignore that thing you've been meaning to fix.
✔️ Wear pajamas until an unreasonable hour.
✔️ Eat something you didn't cook.
✔️ And, most importantly…

REFUSE TO LABOR OVER DINNER.

That last one is where we come in. 😏

Because nothing says “I’m celebrating the American worker” quite like making somebody else cook your supper.

You worked hard.

You deserve a plate of Cajun goodness.

And dessert.

Definitely dessert.

We’ll be doing the labor.
You just show up and take the credit. 😂
