Our friends at T**a T**a Brewing Co. are letting us crash their Ojai taproom for a night to raise some money for the crew that made the Ojai Pub what it was.

We might not have a bar to call home right now, but we’ve still got our people. And apparently, you can’t get rid of us that easily. 🤣

We’re beyond grateful to the T**a T**a crew for opening their doors to us and to this ridiculous little town for continuing to show up for our staff.

So come drink some damn good b**r, witness some suspiciously talented karaoke singers, hug your favorite pub degenerates, and help us take care of the people who spent so many nights taking care of you.

Well… you guys really fu***ng showed up. 🖤 We knew saying goodbye to the Pub was going to hurt. What we weren’t prepared for was that.

You packed the bar. You packed the patio. You spilled onto the sidewalk. You hugged us, cried with us, drank us nearly dry, tipped the absolute hell out of our staff, sang, danced, laughed, told stories and gave this weird little bar the kind of send-off we never could have planned.

And yes, eventually the cops came. 😂
Apparently “one last party” got a little out of hand.

But if the Ojai Pub had to close, we genuinely cannot imagine a more perfect final night.

The amount of love we’ve received since announcing the closure has been overwhelming. The messages. The photos. The stories. The GoFundMe. The people checking on our staff. The musicians, regulars, neighbors, industry friends and complete strangers who have reached out to tell us what this place meant to them.

Thank you for loving our staff. Thank you for supporting live music. Thank you for singing AP karaoke, showing up for trivia, sitting through open mic sets with our favorite weirdos, dancing at Craft Raves, drinking our ridiculous cocktails, eating a truly unreasonable number of sausages, and letting us try a million weird ideas on you.

Thank you for turning a bar into a community.

We are devastated that this chapter ended the way and when it did, but looking at these photos, it’s impossible not to also feel incredibly fu***ng lucky.

We got to build something special here. You made it special.

And for the record: we may be closed, but we’re not disappearing. We’ll keep this page alive, share some recipes and memories, keep you posted on our people, and figure out what comes next.

Well, shut. This is a post we never wanted to make. 💔 Today is our last day at Ojai Pub, and to say we’re heartbroken would be a massive understatement.

This little pub has been so much more than a bar. It’s been our second home, a stage for ridiculously talented musicians, a place where strangers became friends, and a gathering spot for some of the best (and weirdest) people we’ve ever met. We’ve laughed, cried, danced, made some questionable decisions, and created memories we’ll carry with us forever.

We’ve poured our hearts into this place, and saying goodbye is absolutely devastating.

And because apparently closing the pub wasn’t dramatic enough, we had a fu***ng grease fire last night. 🤣 So we’ll do our absolute best to feed you today, but please bear with us if the kitchen is a little chaotic. We’re really going out with a bang.

For our final day, we’re keeping the drinks flowing:

Come have one last drink with us. Hug your favorite bartender. Tell us your favorite pub story. Cry with us, laugh with us, and help us give this place the send-off it deserves.

To our staff, past and present, our musicians, our regulars, and every single person who has supported us: THANK YOU. You’ve made this place what it is, and we genuinely cannot imagine our lives without the community we’ve built here.

We’re sad. We’re pi**ed. We’re exhausted. And we’re so incredibly grateful.

We wish we had more time, but since we don’t, let’s all hang out one last time.
