We lost one of our favorite regulars this week. 😞. For the past four years, Ken would walk to our shop and order a small hot caramel latte and sit in the front window. When he went into hospice care, Ken's brother continued to pick up a caramel latte and deliver it to him. For us, it was never about the latte, but we're glad that it connected us to him.

For the coming week(9/20-9/26), order a small hot caramel latte and the proceeds will be donated to the local hospice care service that took care of our buddy. Ken, you'll be forever missed by the Woods team! ❤️

Dill Pickle Cream Cheese is our August seasonal spread! It's made with fresh local dill and pickles made by our our favorite market Core Goods. Available til August 31. 🥯 Bagel suggestion: try it on a sundried tomato, everything, or jalapeno cheddar.

This weekend is Oil City Bridgefest, which means you have two days left to try the Bridge Troll Latte! This annual drink special is made with pistachio, hazelnut and butter pecan and topped with vanilla cold foam and matcha cocoa dust.

Friday Bridgefest - music and vendors on the Center Street Bridge from 4-9pm. Our Northside shop will be OPEN from 4-8pm serving a limited drink menu!

Saturday Bridgefest - bands, food, and art on the Veteran's Bridge from 4-10pm

✂️ It's finally happening! Join us for a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, July 22 at 3pm for our Northside location!

Sample coffee and meet our roasters (Elmo Fired Beans, Knox & Mechanic Coffee, Pittsburgh), be the first to see our balcony and second floor dining room, and enjoy some cake as we celebrate the building's 100th birthday!

🚲 Ride with us to the Saltbox this Wednesday to check out the Allegheny Valley Trails Association weekly Trail Mix!

We will will ride along the Erie to Pittsburgh Trail and depart from Woods & River (Southside location) at 8:30 am and arrive at the Saltbox before 9:00 am. (Approximately a 6 mile ride). Afterwards, there will take part in the group ride back to Oil City departing from the Saltbox at 10:00 am.

Please note this ride is completely paved and includes about a mile of on-street travel from the coffee shop to the Oil City Marina.

See you on the trail! 🚲

FYI:
At your request, our Wednesday morning Trail Mix will now be followed by a group bike ride at 10:00 a.m. Rides will be 11 - 17 miles in length and at a casual pace. Our first group ride will be Wednesday, July 15. We will cycle from the Saltbox to the Marina in Oil City and back on the Samuel Justus Trail. Participants will receive a free Samuel Justus Trail keychain (limited supply). Join us!
