In 1955, Dolores and Giuseppe Lanni left Campania, Italy, with their three kids and a hope for something better. To Nonno and Nonna, home wasn’t a place, it was what happened at their table.
Every fall, Nonno pressed wine in the garage, the same way his father had. Every summer, Nonna canned tomatoes for the Sunday Sauce that would carry them through winter. And every Sunday, the whole family gathered. Plates were passed, cards were dealt (Scopa was Nonno’s game), and nobody left hungry.
That’s the story behind our name. Pepp & Dolores isn’t just a restaurant, it’s our attempt to bottle up what it felt like to walk into Nonno and Nonna’s kitchen. The handmade pasta, the family recipes on the menu, and the walls covered in photos like these are all in service of one thing: Making you feel like family the moment you sit down.
