Lovely evening yesterday with Purple Sky W**ery for our September W**e Wednesday! Pretty cool being able to try their new Estate series including Frontenac Blanc with Utah grown grapes.

Let's talk about the rest of this week:

We've got incredible coffee features in whole bean from Caffe Ibis and a very fun seasonal drink menu which of course includes our housemade pumpkin puree but also Thai Teas and Candy Corn Matcha. Be sure to check them out.

This weekend for Labor Day we're hosting artist Sara Austin Christensen for First Friday Art Stroll, as well as Lilia Maughn for community karaoke. Ogden Arts

We also have another Farmers Market Saturday and don't forget our mini market offerings right inside the shop! Grab your pastas, sauces, jams, cheeses, loose leaf teas and more.

And Monday is Labor Day, we'll be open regular hours.

Just a heads up, the patio will be closed Friday evening as well as Sunday morning for a private event but the café will be on regular business hours throughout.

Don't have a library card? Pop on into Weber County Library and get one! Getting a library card is free and easy. Plus you'll gain access to so much more than book and media rentals! We personally love the access to Libby (free audio book service with a library card), Mango (free language learning app with a library card) and the Main Branches "maker station" where you can use button makers, digital embroidery, cutting tools and laser etching. The library system is pretty incredible and we want to celebrate 🥳

Our fall specialty menu is here with a little something for every kind of fall person, whether you’re counting down the days until pumpkin season or still pretending summer isn’t ending. 😂

We’ve got the classics like our Pumpkin Latte and Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, plus a few fun favorites like Candy Corn Matcha, Peach Cobbler Chai, Butter B**r Cream Soda, and The Rachel with salted maple cold foam.

And yes, our pumpkin drinks are made with our signature housemade pumpkin purée. 🎃

August is full of reasons to come hang out at The Mercantile, and we’re kicking things off with a very busy, very fun week! 🍷✨

Join us Wednesday, August 5, for W**e Wednesday with Vine Lore. This month’s guided tasting features w**es made for summer, including vibrant chillable reds and elegant patio whites, paired with cheeses and shared Select Charcuterie Boards for snacking.

Tickets are $29 online to reserve your seat and food pairings, with an additional $9 paid onsite for your w**e flight. You’re also welcome to order a meal or any extra provisions while you’re here!

And that’s just the beginning. August is packed with events, including our First Friday Art Show paired with karaoke, Drag Brunch, a Watercolor class and so much more coming your way.
