For everybody that knows us here is an update from my wife stacey. Thank you so much for the continued prayers!❤

Today was a little more surreal then I expected and I’m struggling more then I thought I would. I have been through a lot lately and this diagnosis really came at me from left field. I never thought I would be the one to get “The Call” especially not after everything I have been through the last 5 months. That call came a couple of weeks ago but it didn’t feel real. Today was different, Maybe it was the pink folder with a list of all my options or maybe it was the pink bracelet they gave me that was handmade by a survivor. I know that I am one of the lucky ones. Everything happened for a reason and I don’t think they would have found this at this early of a stage if it wasn’t for me going for transplant testing. I know that God has a plan and Im trying to stay positive. I appreciate everyone for all the prayers. They mean a lot to myself and my family.

Hi everyone update on my wife Stacey. She has been doing dialysis now 3 days a week and she seems to be responding well to it but her kidneys still need time and lots of continued prayers. Please share this link and if at all possible be a part of our fight. Thank you so much for all the prayers, love and support so far.

Hello everyone, I have some unfortunate news, anyone who met my wife knows she was the rock of sweet Southern Heat BBQ. Just last week she suffered from a stroke and heart attack and was left with end stage renal failure. Please pray for us and take a look at her gofundme page our sister in law created. Hello everyone, it is with a heavy heart that I write this but my wife and I have decided to shut down and are in the process of selling our food trailer. The last 4 yrs have been a blast and we have met some amazing people selling bbq and to be honest I will miss you, our customers the most. Things change and different opportunities arise and its time for another chapter but I will still have my big smoker so continue to follow us and I may from time to time post that I am cooking ribs and brisket that can be pre-ordered and picked up but we will cross that bridge when we get there. Thank you so much to everyone and anyone who has stopped by and tried our food and to the diehard regulars that would come religiously. We hope to continue to see some of you out and about and maybe one day cook for you again but until then Thank you for everything! Mike and Stacey Lupo
