🚨 Important Update from Mamasitas Mexican Grill 🚨
It is with great frustration that we announce we are once again closed this afternoon because of another failure involving the City of Odessa water line serving our restaurant.
Yesterday, the City of Odessa Water Department repaired the water line and restored our service. Unfortunately, the repair did not hold, and city crews are back today digging up the same area to make another repair. This means another day our doors remain closed through no fault of our own.
These repeated water line failures are taking a real toll—not just on local businesses, but on the hardworking employees who depend on their paychecks to support their families. Every unexpected closure means lost wages, lost business, and added hardship for people who simply want to work.
Our community deserves reliable infrastructure. As these water line issues continue to affect businesses and neighborhoods across Odessa, we encourage our community to make your voices heard and ask our city leaders to prioritize long-term improvements to our aging water system so these disruptions become less frequent.
We appreciate the crews working to restore service, and we also believe it's time to invest in lasting solutions rather than repeatedly repairing the same problems.
