Today is a wonderful day all over the planet. The traffic in Mexico City is… beautiful, of course. But honestly, I would prefer the tropical countryside and the wildlife. When I was young, I spent a lot of time in Mexico City, but I think I've fallen in love with nature and the sea above all things. The calm of the sea… and, of course, that beautiful little island of Ocracoke, somewhere on this gorgeous planet.
Remember: don’t complain about today’s circumstances. Just enjoy. By now, you already have your coffee. I'm enjoying mine — a Mexican coffee, a blend from two states: Veracruz and Chiapas. Delicious coffee, naturally from the high mountains . I will enjoy here today. You also enjoy your beautiful Family, friends and your “freaking Gr**gos friends” of course in ocracoke

I was driving along this countryside road in Hidalgo Mexico, when suddenly a little animal caught my attention. In Mexico, we call it a burrito — but in the US, you’d say donkey.
Today, I remember how you used to say, “I want my burritos 🌯 🌯 🌯!” Well, here it is… all the way from Mexico. Very authentic Burrito
I’ve been a bit busy enjoying Mexico and figuring out day-to-day things. I recently spent some time in the state of Hidalgo — honestly, a paradise.

But it would feel unfair — wouldn’t it? — to say your vacation ends. Because fortunately, another grand and lovely vacation is starting. Why? Because you’ll see your friends, the ones who live close to your heart in the community you call home. You’ll see your coworkers, your everyday companions. And if you look at it through a softer lens… every single day is a little vacation.

Seriously, it’s a stunning book filled with gorgeous photographs of birds in their everyday habitats.

Then , this is My message for an entire community and a beautiful country. I would like to say the best words of gratitude to the place where I lived the best stage of my life. They speak English, and I speak Spanish—of course, I tried to communicate with them. This is a farewell letter, but at the same time, a letter to tell you that it was a pleasure to meet you and to have conquered your friendship. Saying "conquer" is just a word. I tried to be unique based on the values my mother instilled in me: respect for others. It was a great pleasure to understand your needs. The hard part for me was saying no. My heart told me, "You have to please your future friends," and of course, I was always convinced of that.

Wow, I think in the universe there are the most beautiful words to tell you the best—words that only you would understand. Today I can say: I love you, I love you very much. And well, I'm not a big fan of tattooing things on my body, but you are already more than tattooed on my heart. A bone with a lot of heart, as you sometimes say. You made my day—I would say you made my life.

I could lie, but today I can't hold back my tears. They say in the world that men shouldn't cry. Today I am not a man; today I am a great human being, and tears flow from me. But you know what? Tears of love for you. Today I take these colors of your flag to my home—they represent everyone, all my American friends. My babies, my gr**go milds , my crazy gr**gos, my cranky gr**gos. I learned. Hello, 💔💔💔my loves.
It’s been long months since the last time. The wound still hasn’t healed—I think it was a very hard goodbye.

What truly united us wasn’t just the Mexican food; I believe it was humility and always sharing happy smiles. Together, I feel we built a family of great friends. I carry memories of you that, for as long as God grants me the grace to exist, I will keep in my heart. And in heaven, Eduardo’s Taco Stand will be waiting to celebrate for eternity.

Today, I wish the best for the new entrepreneurs, the hard workers, and all my former colleagues. They call them El Mariachi. Congratulations, Paty and Sara—just as you told me you would do it even better than Eduardo’s, and as I mentioned to you, of course you can. Life is lived day by day. There’s no time in the past, no time in tomorrow—only today exists. And you are extraordinary. You just have to bring out all your talent and wisdom—and you already have it.
