Meet Daniel Gabor

Born in Germany and trained at the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Daniel Gabor brings a deeply personal approach to every dish. His philosophy is simple: cook everything from scratch, use every part of the ingredient, and create food worth sharing.
From house-made sourdough and six-week fermented sauces to dry-aged steaks and evolving charcuterie, every detail is intentional. The menu reflects his European roots, layered with global influences and a commitment to craftsmanship that’s rare to find.

🧅 An Onion Soup of Champions…

Versions of onion soup existed for centuries because onions were cheap and widely available, but the modern style — rich beef stock, caramelized onions, toasted bread, and melted cheese on top — became popular in France during the 18th and 19th centuries. A common story is that it became especially popular in the old Parisian market district, where workers and late-night diners wanted something hearty and inexpensive.
