To say this past weekend was a whirlwind roller coaster of emotions would be putting it lightly. The love the adoration from everyone who had given their faithful support to CEJA’S Diner and came in for one last good bye was bitter sweet. Having a business in my hometown of Oceanside was a dream come true 14 years ago, one that I would cherish and never forget for the rest my life. Saying thank you for supporting CEJA’S for so many years would be an understatement. Thank you all for making my dream come true and making CEJA’S one of the best Mexican spots in Oceanside.
I did my very best to thank everyone personally for their years of loyal support and for those who I wasn’t able to thank, my family and I want to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts.
My wife Patricia and my daughters Camila & Chantal who have always been by my side through thick and thin. My staff, my main guy in the kitchen Sebastian who’s been with us since ours doors first opened in 09’. Words cannot describe your dedication and work ethic don’t know what I would have done without you my friend. My do everything nephew Alex at young age already knows the meaning of hard work. Probably my most loyal patrons Brad & Jaci (pictured with Mr. eatingoceanside Kareem) you weren’t just my customers you became my friends. To Mr. Bob, he would always walk in right before closing time and fittingly so was one of the last customers we served. Thanks to every single one of you that walked through our doors and made the CEJA’S community so very special.
Daniel, out!
