I started baking when I was a teenager. Just me, a hand mixer, and a lot of trial and error in the kitchen. What began as a creative outlet slowly became something deeper: a way to bring joy, express myself, and connect with others. For a long time, I dreamed about turning that passion in

to something real, but fear and self-doubt held me back. In 2023, after years of praying, second-guessing, and finally deciding to bet on myself, I launched Fueled by Flour. With God’s guidance and a whole lot of courage, I turned my love for cake into a business rooted in celebration, creativity, and community. What started as custom cupcakes for family and friends has grown into a brand that blends flavor, flair, and purpose, serving up party-ready desserts, hot girl baker merch, and digital products for fellow creatives. 🖤 Eras of Ari: Episode 5 - Dangerous Woman

When I design these cakes, I try really hard not to recreate album covers. Instead, I try to create the vibe of the era as a whole

For Dangerous Woman, the answer felt obvious.
Something elegant yet dramatic.
This design pushed me to simplify instead of adding more.
I think that's what made it work so well.

One of my favorite parts of this series is asking myself one question before every cake.

"If this album were a dessert, what would it look like?"

For Sweetener. A design that feels soft and romantic without trying too hard.

I wanted this cake to feel the way the album sounds. soft, dreamy and full of little details you appreciate more the longer you look at them.

One of my favorite parts of this series is figuring out what an album would look like if it were a cake.

Every album in Ariana's discography has its own personality, and this one felt like it deserved a design with contrast.

Boundaries are one of the best things I ever implemented in my business.

When I first started, I thought saying "yes" to everything was good customer service. In reality it led to burnout, confusion, and clients expecting things I couldn't produce.

Now I run my business with clear policies (that evolve as I learn and grow) and it's one of the biggest reasons I'm able to provide a consistent, professional experience.

If you're a cake artist who's nervous about enforcing boundaries, let this be your reminder: Policies aren't rude. They actually help you and your clients

the right clients will respect them.

I'm just going to say it:
I think Positions was a victim of bad timing

Everyone was expecting another thank u, next moment, another breakup anthem.
Instead, Ariana gave us something softer. Something smoother.
And I think a lot of people overlooked how good it actually was because of that.

So for Episode 2 of Eras of Ari, I turned my favorite Ariana album into a cake.
Simple. Clean. A little understated.
Which honestly feels very Positions.

Now let's settle the important question:
What's the most underrated song on the album?
Because if I see Main Thing getting the recognition it deserves, I'll sleep better tonight 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

New series unlocked 🎂✨

Welcome to Eras of Ari.

The concept is simple:
I'm decorating a cake inspired by every Ariana Grande album and sharing my completely unqualified opinions along the way.

We're starting with Eternal Sunshine.

And while I loved a lot of the individual songs, I'm still not sure where the album ranks for me overall.

But trying to translate that feeling into a cake ended up being a fun creative challenge.

Lots of texture.
A moodier color palette.
A few techniques I've never tried before.

I created this merch because I couldn't find baker products that felt like me 🎀💖

Everything was either super generic...
or looked like it belonged in my grandma's house
