Come take in the sights and feel the breeze! Tractor rides are running today from 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

🌸 Calling all flower lovers: With all the heat we’ve been having, today is the day to harvest your fresh blooms! Come out and pick your zinnias, lavender, and sunflowers while they're vibrant.

Looking for a fun way to earn hours or spend your weekends this autumn? Join the Mellano Farm Stand volunteer team! 🎃✨
As the new school year gets underway, we are looking for enthusiastic helpers to help bring our Fall Festivals to life! Whether you’re a student aiming to complete community service hours, a scout group, or just someone who loves crisp fall weather and farm life, we’d love to have you!
Volunteers will help create a magical autumn experience in our Kid’s Area including; assisting with festive crafts, hosting games, supervising the bounce houses, helping out around the pumpkin patch and more!

Hand-plotting and cutting every single pathway into this year’s corn maze! We measure out the grid, mark the turns, and cut the trails by hand so every dead end hits just right.

How we do it:
Grid System: We walk the field with tape measures and flags to transfer our scaled paper map directly onto the dirt.
Precision Cutting: Every corner and loop is cleared manually to get crisp, sharp turns.
The Result: A custom, hands-on maze built stalk by stalk!

What a season! 🍉✨

We just wanted to pause and say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support our family farm this summer. Every visit, every melon, and every smile meant the world to our team.

Even though we planned ahead and planted extra this year, you all showed up in a big way—and we officially ran out of melons!

If you missed out or didn't get as many as you wanted, don't worry: we're already mapping out our fields for next year to make sure there are plenty to go around.

Thank you for being the best community a family farm could ask for!

Don't Forget! We are open Thursdays-Sundays, 10:30-5:00 PM for fresh produce, raw honey, flowers and more! And... U-pick Flowers continue to bloom! Stop by and pick zinnias, lavender and sunflowers straight from our field!

IMPORTANT FESTIVAL UPDATE: Watermelons are SOLD OUT, but Summer Fun Continues!

What an amazing season it has been… but it isn’t quite over yet! 🍉✨

We are absolutely in awe of how many watermelon lovers have visited the farm this summer! That said, we have a quick update: we are COMPLETELY SOLD OUT of whole watermelons as of today August 1st.

BUT the festival fun isn’t stopping! We still have tomorrow for the final day of our Festival, and we want to make it worth your trip:

🚜 BOGO Tractor Rides all day long!
🌻 Sunflower U-Pick Early Access (plus our gorgeous Zinnias and Lavender!).
🍉 Pre-cut watermelon (while supplies last!).
🥤 Our famous Watermelon Lemonade to keep you cool!

We will also have live music, local food, bounce houses, and more!

We know it’s on your calendar, so come on out for one last sweet summer day at the farm! See you tomorrow! ☀️🚜
