Thank you to everyone who has reached out with private messages of concern.

Yes, my hometown of Spokane, Washington, is experiencing a devastating firestorm that has displaced more than 67,000 people, destroyed over 700 structures, and claimed the lives of countless beloved pets and farm animals.

Watching this devastation unfold from 3,000 miles away has been heartbreaking.

I'm grateful to say that my family is safe, and my childhood home was not affected. Nor my personal home I still own in the area.

However, I have friends who are currently in evacuation zones and still cannot return home as the fires continue to burn.

My heart aches for everyone who has lost their homes, their livelihoods, and so much more. Like many of you, I've been brought to tears by the photos, stories, and unimaginable destruction.

Because of this, I've decided to raise funds for the Spokane Red Cross and Spokanimal—two trusted organizations working tirelessly to help those affected.

This weekend, a portion of all sales from Drifting Grounds & Pearl's Corner will be donated to support these organizations and help my hometown of Spokane begin the long road to recovery.

Thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your support. Every purchase, donation, and shared post makes a difference. ❤️ Erin

We want to sincerely apologize for the ups and downs with our system last weekend and into this week. We had to pull the new point‑of‑sale system and revert back to our original one.

Your loyalty points are safe — none of them were lost. We’re moving everything over manually, so thank you for your patience while we work through that.

Gift cards purchased on the other system are also still valid. Redeeming them just requires an extra step on our end, but we’ll absolutely honor them. We appreciate your understanding while we navigate that headache too. If you need a new gift card. We are going to send you to Pearl's Corner until new ones are created.

Lastly, please give our baristas some extra love. Hand‑writing every single drink ticket is incredibly challenging, and they handled the chaos with so much grace. I wanted to cry for them, but they kept pushing through.

Christian and I are truly lucky to have each one of them on our team.

Thank you Christian, Erin & Pearl
