Well guys we’ve got some unfortunate changes we have to make. Per our last Health Dept inspection we can no longer allow pets at the Grocery. The new inspector is hitting everyone with the same rules and we’ve got no choice but to comply with them.
We’ll sincerely miss seeing all the pups and critters and felt like we always made a good effort to keep the pets separate from the non- pet customers but the powers that be have spoken and we have to comply.
Service animals of course are always welcome and nothing changes about that status. Per the law regarding service animals, they must be on- leash and of excellent behavior. We’re not allowed by law to question their status as service animals beyond simply asking if they have specific job to do. Please don’t be offended if we see an animal and ask if it’s a service animal, we have to. Please be sure that any animals brought to the business are “service animals” and be prepared to answer yes if asked.
We’re sorry about having to limit this feature but in the interest of public health and safety, our hands are tied on this one. We really appreciate your understanding.
