Vice President JD Vance says voters frustrated by high prices should reject “the crazy people who started these problems.” But the current record points that finger at the GOP, blunting his attack.

Inflation had fallen to 3% when Biden left office. Under President Donald Trump, inflation rose to 3.4%, while real hourly earnings declined over the past year, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Trump’s tariffs have increased some import costs, while his war with Iran has disrupted oil shipments and pushed gasoline to about $4.48 a gallon. The Congressional Budget Office estimates the conflict will add roughly half a percentage point to inflation into 2027.

Biden-era inflation may explain why prices started rising, but Trump’s policies are causing them to rise even faster now. Vance’s call to blame those responsible may not point voters in the direction he intends. 🤣

Marjorie Taylor Greene Just Called MAGA a Cult

“If you were mad about gas prices under Biden and complained constantly but you’re silent now, you are a fool. You’re in a cult, and you’re dishonest.”

That’s not a Democrat speaking. It’s Marjorie Taylor Greene, once one of Donald Trump’s fiercest defenders.

Greene backed Trump through two impeachments, defended his election lies and built her political identity around MAGA. But the relationship fractured after she challenged him over the Epstein files, health-care costs and America’s expanding war with Iran. Trump withdrew his endorsement and called her a traitor. Greene resigned from Congress.

Now she is blaming Trump for fuel prices driven higher by that war.

Her break does not erase the misinformation and division she helped spread. Nor has she suddenly become a progressive. But it proves that even deeply committed supporters can eventually recognize when loyalty requires them to deny what they see and what they are paying.

The lesson for families divided by MAGA is simple: Don’t give up.

People rarely change because they lose an argument. They change when the contradictions become too large to ignore.

Even Marjorie Taylor Greene finally reached that point.
