An engineer is expected between 1-3 days. Until then the pier structure is closed to the public. The Pierhouse will remain open in the meantime. Drop by if you have any questions, plenty of reasons to visit the OIB Pier 🌊

UPDATE: OIB PIER CLOSURE - 15OCT2026
Good evening and happy Thursday, everyone. Tomorrow morning, (Friday - 16OCT) limited repairs will begin on the Pier with the goal of Opening to the public on Saturday - 17OCT.
An update will be put out tomorrow with more information regarding progress and the projected reopening date, but we are happy to announce that the public will soon be able to resume their October fishing at the OIB Pier!
A lot of good people are rallying to make this happen and there has been a tremendous amount of support from the community🙏 Thank you all and please bear with us a little longer!
UPDATE: OIB PIER REOPENING SATURDAY 17OCT2026 at 10:00 AM
Good evening all and happy Friday. We made substantial progress with the pier today, enough to confidently say that we will be opening tomorrow morning at or around 10:00AM. There is more work to be done but our crew will be hard at work first thing in the morning ensuring that the pier is safe for public use. Thank you for your patience, support and understanding.
