Okay, choosing just one favorite from Nauti Donuts was not an easy task 😅 BUT… if we absolutely had to pick, the Mermaid’s Delight would be very high on the list 😍

Strawberry icing, Fruity Pebbles, and marshmallow drizzle? That’s the kind of combo you see once and then immediately need to try for yourself 👏

Safe to say, knows a thing or two about making donuts that are just as fun as they are delicious 🍩✨

Now we need to know… what’s your Nauti Donuts pick? 👀

Did you know Oves Restaurant wasn’t always a restaurant? 👀

The story starts back in the 1960s, when Tom Oves Sr. retired from the Ocean City Beach Patrol and started a small bike rental business. Customers would come back from riding and ask him the same thing over and over: “Where’s a good place to have breakfast?”

That one question sparked an idea 💡

In 1968, Tom found an available beach lot at 4th & Boardwalk, moved the bike business there, and opened a small grill called Oves’ Hi Spot. At the time, the boardwalk sat in front of the stand, and the stand was raised on pilings to stop the ocean from carrying it away 🌊

Then in 1979, Ocean City redesigned the boardwalk and moved it closer to the street, connecting the restaurant directly to the boardwalk. The name changed too — first to Oves’ Beach Grill, and later to the Oves Restaurant we know today.

By the early 1980s, the dining room had expanded and a second floor was added. Then in 1990, Tom Jr., Chris, and Alex introduced evening seafood dining… and it became an overnight success 🦀

Now, more than 50 years later, the second and third generations of the Oves family are still serving locals and visitors alike ❤️

From bike rentals to beach stand breakfasts to seafood dinners with a view… that’s quite the OCNJ story 🥰 No wonder has become such an OCNJ staple 🫶
