Dear Golden Plate patrons and Boardwalk friends,

First and foremost we would like to express our appreciation and gratitude for the many years of business and friendship. After over 50 successful years, the Karaman family is officially retiring.

Preserving the Golden Plate name and family business is of the utmost importance to us. That being said, the Kucuk Family will be carrying on the legacy of the small family business. You’ll be sure to see one of the three brothers and their families as your new familiar faces.

We’d like to thank everyone who watched our family business grow and contribute to the successes of Golden Plate. Thank you to those who have been involved in our lives and have become life long friends, your support means everything to us. We’d specifically like to express our gratitude to our wonderful landlords and friends, The Albright’s, who have become our family.

We wish the Kucuk family many years of success and growth. Please join us in supporting their new home on the corner of 1st Street.

Thank you all for another successful 4th of July!

We want to also thank Ocean City Fire Department Ocean City Police Department Mayor Rick Meehan Town of Ocean City - Government for their diligent efforts to keep the community, businesses, and visitors of Ocean City safe during yesterday's unfortunate event. While we didn't have our usual display of fireworks, we are blessed that everyday is truly a patriotic celebration 🇺🇸
