It is with great sadness that we share we will not be reopening this season. The Flagship Hotel, along with Jonah and the Whale, will be taken down and reimagined into something new.
Over the years, we have created so many wonderful memories at Jonah. It has been so much more than just a workplace.
Starting with our staff - there have been countless relationships formed here, lifelong friendships built, and even marriages that began within these walls. For many, Jonah was a place that carried them through their college years and into their careers. For local kids, it was often a first job - one where we hope they learned lessons that lasted far beyond their time with us.
For our family, Jonah was truly that—a family business in every sense of the word. We grew up here. We worked side by side through the busiest, most challenging moments, and also the most fun. Through it all, we came together, supported one another, and are incredibly grateful for the time we shared.
And to our patrons—we are so very thankful. Whether you joined us once, once a season, or made us a tradition year after year, visiting multiple times during your stay - THANK YOU! Your support, loyalty, and the memories you created with us mean more than we can ever fully express.
Jonah and the Whale will always hold a special place in our hearts.
