Hey y’all! Just letting everyone know that my recovery from surgery is going well. Trying my best not to get too anxious. I’ll be kicking the walker to the curb Monday and upgrading to a cane lol. Just to keep me from going stir crazy. *If there’s a bbq protein or anything else that you’ve been craving*. But, haven’t seen it on our menu or special’s let me know. If many others crave it, I’ll make it a special! It has to be usda approved lol. Nothing exotic. That’s my challenge for the week.

Hey y’all! My surgery was a success. It may take longer to recover from this one. I’m not going to rush it but, we’ll be seeing you guys as soon as we can.
If any of you guys are available tomorrow morning to attend the county meeting that they’re trying to create new rules and regulations for all food trucks, that would be great to have the people’s voice heard. If interested in joining the meeting Kathy Clements posted the information (article on Ocala.com) on the Ocala food truck hub. I wish I could go but, my anesthesia after the surgery yesterday just wore off not long ago and I literally can’t walk or form intelligent sentences (so if this post is a little wonky, sorry) lol….probably not a good idea for me to speak publicly 🤷🏾‍♂️

Hey y’all! We’ll be open tomorrow Saturday 8/22 with a heavy full menu from 12:15-7:00 or until sold out. Saturday’s *Specials* smoked oxtails over a bed of lightly seasoned rice plus 2 sides. We’ll also have jumbo deep fried chicken wing combos or jumbo smoked wing combos,come get your favorite Saturday. Hey y’all! I’ll be posting a video on the craziness that’s going on as of today I had a customer call me and told me they were trying to get me a new location if I needed one, 400ft from the road (at least) duke energy was okay with putting power there the business wanted me to come there everybody was on board as soon as they called county the answer was no, immediately, no explanation. I am a very nice guy. You can’t continue pushing me without me pushing back. I spoke with a private investigator and an attorney and I’m going to proceed. Someone is messing with my livelihood; and not just mine, but each of the owners out here. This is how we feed our families and honestly many in our community. All of us have maintained proper state licensing, all pass inspections with flying colors, and have all the state required accommodations. I don’t know if it’s certain people, or if it’s the county but it’s not right. We don’t bother anybody; Heck We’ve helped people that serve the SAME food that we do.
